Directions to Tweetsie Railroad
Tweetsie Railroad is located on Highway 321 between Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina. From the Blue Ridge Parkway exit at milepost 291 (Boone exit).
Please note an area of construction that could affect your travel to Tweetsie:

US 321 between Lenoir and Blowing Rock closes for road construction on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Noon to 2:00 pm, and Mondays from 8 pm to 5 am Tuesday, and Wednesdays from 8 pm to 5 am Thursday.
Be sure to allow for delays and/or detours, which route all traffic through Wilkesboro. During the closure, the following detour sign will be in place:
NC 18 to Wilkesboro to US 421 to Boone to US 321 to Blowing Rock.

I don't know anywhere else you could park a stroller full of goods and go ride a train and it all be there when you return. Thanks again for all you do. It's worth the two hour ride to see his face!”
